A new form of “Suruga Bamboo Sen-suji-zaiku,” which has been handed down since the Edo period.
Craftsmen carefully bend bamboo one by one to maximize its beauty in this single-flower vase and aroma diffuser. The delicate and supply curves are created by using the “Uramage” technique, an advanced technique of bending bamboo inward. The contrast between the soft bamboo frame and the hard, smooth ceramic creates a lightness and presence that beautifully colors the space. The bamboo rings that support the bamboo frame have the same diameter at the top and bottom, and can be used for a variety of occasions, depending on your mood.
